Let’s Be Wild photo theme # 23 is Spring. Although the calendar says Spring, here in the East Kootenays of BC, it will be at least another month (usually around Mother’s Day in May) before the hillsides burst into bloom.

On the Dewdney Trail, I was able to capture two tiny alpine buttercups showing their miniature yellow faces and a succulant with bright red brackets that stood out against the rocky background.
