A visit to Cairo is not complete until you visit the souk of Khan el-Khalili. Located in the heart of Islamic Cairo, this busy and colorful open-air souk is filled with unique and exotic items from spices and perfumes to jewelry and souvenirs. Make sure to hone your bargaining skills and be willing to walk away. My rainbow colors are from the many stalls throughout the souk.
